Private Training Sessions
Sharon offers Obedience Series for dogs of all ages covering a variety of techniques designed to teach you how to train your dog before inappropriate behavior begins. Private sessions are given in your home or office since best results are most often realized when lessons are in a structured environment and territory familiar to your dog.

Classes are fun, helpful and informative for both dogs and owners. Sessions cover many issues that concern dog owners from house-training and bite inhibition to excessive barking and basic manners. During the very first session, you will begin to see results and learn how to care for your new family member, even if this is your first dog.

Sharon is available by appointment, weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Private Consultations
Private consultations are available for cats and dogs displaying signs of behavioral problems such as excessive barking, aggression, anxiety and inappropriate elimination.

Sharon will observe your animal in its home environment and take a detailed history. This information is then analyzed and discussed with you in order to devise and develop a program shaped to meet your animals' specific needs.

Are you considering a new Cat or Dog?
There are many things to consider before adopting a cat or dog. You must ask yourself important questions in order to avoid bringing home an animal that you will not want to keep. Will I have time to train a puppy with my work schedule? Do I want a dog that needs a lot or a little exercise? What kind of temperament and personality will best suit my family? Do any family members have allergies, what type of dog is best with children or infants, etc.

By appointment, Sharon can provide information on what you need to know before you bring your new companion home and is available to accompany you to a local shelter to help guide you with your selection.

Host a Puppy Party
No puppy is too young to start learning obedience, house-training and socialization skills.

Socialization is perhaps the most important part of your puppy's life. During the critical period, (between 3-20 weeks) it is important that your puppy is exposed to as many different things as possible.

Hosting or participating in a "chaperoned" puppy party is fun and it's a great way to start sensitizing your pup to hands, noise, unfamiliar people, puppies and places.

By the time your puppy has had all of its vaccinations these new skills will make any interaction easier, whether it's a trip to the veterinarian, groomer or doggie day care.
